Went out to my friend Tina's house.

She doesn't live in the country, but you have to drive in the country to get to it.

I love relaxing drives on long empty roads in the middle of nowhere.

8 hours of moving...

Big storms, tornado warning, flash flooding.

The water rose pretty high, this is the back yard behind my apartment building.

The entire first floor had 2 inches of standing water in it after the flood...it was crazy.

We spent a couple hours after the rain stopped sweeping it out of the doors with brooms.

Electricity finally came back on around 11:30pm.

Was my second time to see the show, and it defnitely did not disappoint!!

Fabulous cast. Fabulous music. Fabulous show.

Today was absolutely gorgeous. The youth group decided to walk to 7-11 to get slurpees as our evening activity. It is so nice to just go out into nature and appreciate the beauty that God has given us in this world. Too often, we take it for granted.

There is something so completely comforting about going home to the neighborhood I grew up in. The smell both outside and inside the house brings a peace that is unexplainable.

Today was one of those days where I did not feel like sitting in the apartment. So, I headed to Target where I walked around for 2 hours. It was glorious. I like shopping by myself, just walking around and picking up very little to buy. Except in the dollar spot...I get into trouble buying cheap things there.
